Apprentice Ecologist Initiative Scholarship
Deadline: December 31

The Apprentice Ecologist Initiative Scholarship has been motivating youth around the world to take initiative in cleaning up the environment since 1999. This initiative is sponsored by Nicodemus Wilderness Project and is officially recognized by the U.S. EPA. Individuals between the ages of 13 and 21 are able to create and conduct their own project based upon environmental clean-up and conservation.

Individuals can become an ecologist apprentice and be considered for the Apprentice Ecologist Initiative Scholarship by completing the following:

  • Conduct an environmental stewardship project
  • Write an essay about your project
  • Register and submit your essay along with your project in action photo

This award will grant 3 individuals an $850 scholarship to be used towards tuition fees, books and other supplies needed for educational courses.
