Full Sail University is an American private, for-profit university located in Florida. Full Sail is dedicated to helping creative students follow their dreams in the entertainment and media industry. With students from over 65 countries, 110 world-class recording studios, and many spacious film soundstages, Full Sail’s innovative and accelerated style of education provides a unique real-world education in film, music, animation, video games and recording arts.

Full Sail University is offering students the opportunity to  apply for the Full Sail Global Achievement Scholarship, which is designed to encourage and develop future international entertainment and media professionals throughout the world.

What is it?

Through the Global Achievement Scholarship, eligible participants may receive up to $5,000 toward the tuition of their Full Sail campus degree program. If you are interested in attending Full Sail University and applying to this scholarship find more information about it here.

Eligibility

To be eligible you must:

  • Be a non-US citizen or non-permanent resident, as defined by Full Sail University.
  • Applicants must have applied for one of the following immersive campus degree programs: Computer Animation, Creative Writing, Digital Arts & Design, Entertainment Business, Film, Game Art, Media Communication, Music Business, Recording Arts, Show Production, or Sports Marketing & Media.

How to enter

  • Complete and submit the Global Achievement application, and an original 250-word essay on “How My Full Sail Education Will Help Me Achieve My Career Dream” prior to the first day of class.
  • The Global Achievement Scholarship application must be submitted to the Full Sail Scholarship Committee prior to the desired start date.

If you are an international student studying in the US and seeking for some financial support, we found the perfect scholarship for you. The SelfScore Scholarship is a national scholarship program dedicated to F1, J1, and M1 students studying in the US.

SelfScore is an analytics based consumer finance company that helps populations gain financial independence through access to credit. But at the moment, they are focusing on connecting international students to fair credit.

This Fall, the company will grant twelve $5,000 scholarships: six for undergraduates and six for graduate students. That sounds good, right? Would you like to be considered for this scholarship? If so, here’s the eligible you must meet:

  • Be a student studying in the U.S. on a F1, J1, or M1 visa during the 2017-2018 academic year.
  • Must be accepted to study or continuing to study at an eligible college or university.
  • Must submit a valid I-20 or DS-2019 form.
  • Must score in the top 15% on a standardized U.S. college entrance exam (SAT, ACT, GRE, or GMAT).
  • Must have a 3.0 GPA, or higher, or the equivalent from your prior studies.

Recipients will be selected randomly among the eligible applicants and no purchase or credit application is required to apply for the scholarship. All applicants are enrolled in a Free Financial Literacy program and all scholarships are awarded on a one-time basis. Applicants may also designate an international student club or organization as part of their application which will receive a one-time grant of $1,000.

Passion for Fashion Scholarship Competition

If you love fashion and want to pursue a career in this field, now is your chance to receive financial assistance to do so! The Art Institute is sponsoring a passion for fashion scholarship competition for interested students to have a shot at earning a half-tuition scholarship to attend the Art Institute and a VIP trip to New York City. This award will be granted to one lucky grand prize winner. There will also be more than $100,000 in tuition scholarships granted to other local winners. This competition is open to high school seniors in the US (including Puerto Rico) and Canada.

The passion for fashion scholarship competition includes two categories that students can enter, based upon their area of interest:

Fashion Design: If designing clothes is your area of expertise, create three sketches of an evening garment and compete with others for the best design. If your design is selected as the local winner you will have the chance to work with a seamstress to have your creation made.

Fashion Marketing & Merchandising and Retail Management: If you are more interested in following latest trends, you have the chance to predict the next hottest fashion through a vision board and demonstrate your ideas.

Scholarships for International Students

Studying in a foreign country is full of challenges. For many, one of the biggest of those challenges is finding a way to pay for the education. Many international students are not eligible for federal aid and many schools require that you prove your ability to pay for part or all of the school’s tuition up front. This is why scholarships for international students are so important. They offer a way for bright students to study in the US who may have otherwise been unable to afford it.

If you are interested in finding scholarships for international students, you can search through our list here. This list is a great place to search through all sorts of scholarships quickly and easily. You can narrow your search by what you are studying, where you are studying, and where you are from, which can really help narrow down the results to the scholarships that are best suited to you.

If you find a scholarship you are interested in you will just have to click on the “information” button (which is to the right and looks like the letter “i”) where you will find a more complete description of what is offered and what is required from you to qualify. Then, if you decide that you want to apply, you just need create a quick username and password. Having this username and password will also allow you to save scholarships that you are interested in and come back to them later.
