If you are an outstanding high school senior or a current college student studying (or planning on studying) in Washington DC, Maryland or Virginia, then you won’t want to miss this scholarship! Designed specifically for international students to help create a better life for themselves and their families, this one lucky award recipient will receive $1,000.

To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
  • Enrolled or accepted as an international student in a US school in Washington DC, Maryland or Virginia
  • Your school must be a 2 or 4-year college
  • Fully complete the application submitted by May 6th

Your application will require that you fill at the online application form, have two letters of recommendations (one of which must be from a teacher, professor, guidance counselor, or principal), an official transcript, and proof of acceptance or enrollment into an accredited university or college in Washington DC, Maryland or Virginia. You will also be required to submit two essays to further distinguish you and your ambitions. Essay topics will include discussing your professional aspirations, your inspiration in life, contributions to your community, etc.
